The main innovation of the Vicoo Platform model concerns the fundamental role played by the local communities in the platform acceleration process. The model foresees starting from a specific need expressed by the local community. Subsequently a cooperative platform is identified capable of satisfying such a need, initiating a process in which – in addition to the usual acceleration tools – representatives of the communities are involved as key stakeholders.

These same key stakeholders will validate the solution offered by the cooperative platform and its usefulness. In this way, thus, the Vicoo Platform model intends to overcome the extractive model characterizing the majority of the main digital platforms.
